I was born in Saitama, Japan. I came to New York to pursue my dream of becoming an Illustrator in 2006 and received BFA in illustration from School of Visual Arts in 2010. I am a nature-lover and a cat-lover.

The peculiar world between reality and fantasy is often the theme of my illustration. Scenes from our daily lives are
reinterpreted and infused in images with new stories. The stories are likely to be true but unlikely. Each image
challenged me to render a visual story on a piece of paper at a glance and bring vague smiles to viewers.
